About Us

Mission

Building ecosystems that sustain our cities,
Nurturing open spaces that carry us forward.

KTS Co., Ltd. is committed to the mission of “Building ecosystems that sustain our cities,
Nurturing open spaces that carry us forward.” Today, our society faces significant challenges.
While infrastructure is aging, shortages of the human resources and budgets needed for its
maintenance and development are becoming increasingly severe, threatening to erode the
safe and comfortable urban functions we once took for granted. We are confronting this
problem and taking on the challenge of creating new systems to realize sustainable urban
development with limited resources. KTS aims to build a sustainable “ecosystem” as a
solution to efficiently support infrastructure.

For this ecosystem to truly function, deep understanding and cooperation among three key
parties are essential: the “government” that manages infrastructure, the “manufacturers” that
provide technology, and the “users” who benefit from it. We will serve as a bridge connecting
these diverse perspectives and foster an “open space connecting to the future”—a place for
dialogue and co-creation where new value is born.

How can we pass on the richness of today’s cities to the next generation? To protect the
foundation that supports future society and the smiles of its people, we will continue to take
on this challenge.

Vision

Together, we imagine, create, and sustain open spaces.
At the heart of community placemaking.

At the heart of community
placemaking.

The ongoing maintenance of open spaces presents a significant societal challenge in today’s
world, given the constraints of limited budgets and human resources. We believe that the
ideal approach to maintenance can only be achieved through collaboration and collective trial
and error among diverse stakeholders—including daily users, managers, manufacturers, and
designers.

At KTS, we aim to contribute to society by addressing these issues not only through our
inherent expertise but also by providing a platform that ensures social infrastructure remains
in a state that is desirable for everyone. By leveraging our strength in understanding the
perspectives of users, manufacturers, and managers, we aspire to support the creation of
spaces that enrich people’s lives.
